Meet Our Founder
Hi, I'm Barbara Clarke Ruiz, Founder and CEO of Lick You Silly Pet Products.
For more than 30 years I've had the privilege of creating products and building brands for some of the world's most recognized companies, including adidas, Nike, FILA, ASICS, New Balance, Walmart, Disney, and EleVen by Venus Williams.
But of everything I've built throughout my career, Lick You Silly holds the most special place in my heart.
Like so many dog parents, my dogs have always been family. I wanted treats I could feel proud to give them every single day. Real ingredients. Honest nutrition. No fillers. No artificial preservatives. Nothing I wouldn't feed my own family.
Every product begins with one simple question:
Would I proudly give this to my own dog?
If the answer isn't an enthusiastic yes, we don't make it.
